Terms of Service
These Terms explain the agreement between you and Revie when you use our website, place an order or ask us to arrange a travel service.
The terms behind your Revie booking
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of hellorevie.com and travel services provided or arranged by Revie Experiences Limited ("Revie", "we", "us" or "our").
They apply together with our Refund & Cancellation Policy , Privacy Policy and any service-specific terms disclosed to you before or at the time of purchase.
Certain services involve airlines, insurers, government authorities, hotels and other third-party providers. Their applicable terms may affect availability, changes, refunds, processing and fulfilment. Any important restriction applicable to your particular purchase should be reviewed before you complete payment.
When you place an order
By completing a purchase after being given access to the applicable terms, you agree to these Terms, our Refund & Cancellation Policy and any service-specific conditions disclosed for that purchase. If you purchase on behalf of another traveller, you confirm that you are authorised to provide their information and arrange the service for them.
1. When do these Terms apply?
These Terms apply when you access or use the Revie website and when you request, order, purchase or use a service provided or arranged by Revie.
A purchase is also subject to any applicable service-specific terms, provider conditions, fare rules, quotation, booking confirmation or other conditions disclosed before or at the time of payment.
If you do not agree to the terms applicable to a purchase, you should not complete that purchase.
2. What is Revie's role?
Revie provides travel support and booking services and also arranges certain services that are supplied, issued or fulfilled by third-party providers.
Depending on the service, Revie's role may include sourcing options, facilitating a booking, preparing or reviewing information, coordinating an application, arranging an appointment, communicating with a provider or providing customer support.
Some services are ultimately provided by someone else
Revie does not operate airlines, issue visas, make immigration decisions, issue Nigerian passports, administer government processes, issue police certificates or make decisions reserved to an insurer, hotel, government authority or other independent provider.
Where a third party supplies or controls a service, its applicable terms and decisions may also govern that part of your purchase.
Nothing in this section removes Revie's responsibility to perform the services that Revie itself has agreed to provide with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable law.
3. Who can use Revie?
You must be at least 18 years old to enter into a purchase with Revie, unless the transaction is completed with the involvement of a parent, guardian or other person legally authorised to act for you.
If you place an order for another traveller, you confirm that you have authority to provide their details and make the relevant arrangements on their behalf.
4. What services does Revie provide?
Revie may provide or arrange services including flight bookings, visa travel reservations, hotel reservations, visa support, travel insurance, Nigerian travel documents, airport services and other travel-related services.
Flights
Search, booking and support for domestic and international air travel.
Visa reservations
Flight and hotel reservation services prepared for visa applications.
Visa support
Application support and related travel assistance for available destinations.
Travel documents
Support for Nigerian passports, Yellow Cards, Police Character Certificates and other available document services.
Travel insurance
Assistance obtaining policies issued by participating insurance providers.
Other travel services
Transfers, transport, tours, protocol and other custom services that Revie may make available.
Services may be added, removed or changed from time to time. Availability on the website does not guarantee that a particular service, provider, fare, appointment or option remains available until your order is confirmed.
5. What are service-specific terms?
Different travel services can have different rules. A particular purchase may therefore have conditions covering refundability, cancellations, amendments, documentation, processing, provider fees, timelines or other requirements.
These conditions may be shown on a service page, booking or checkout screen, fare rule, quotation, invoice, payment request, email, WhatsApp message or other written communication from Revie before or at the time of payment.
Custom and manually arranged services
If Revie sources or arranges a service specifically at your request, the quote, payment request or written booking confirmation may contain terms particular to that transaction.
By accepting the quote or proceeding with payment after those terms have been provided, you accept the service-specific conditions that apply to that purchase.
Where a service-specific term deals with the same subject as these general Terms, the service-specific term applies to that transaction, subject to applicable law.
6. How do third-party provider terms work?
Some Revie services depend on airlines, hotels, insurers, government authorities, couriers, transport operators and other independent providers.
Where applicable, your use of a provider's service is also subject to that provider's fare rules, policy conditions, booking conditions, eligibility requirements or other applicable terms.
Providers may make decisions about matters under their control, including flight schedules, fare restrictions, availability, visa or document decisions, appointments, insurance claims, cancellations and fulfilment.
Revie cannot guarantee or override a decision that is legally or contractually reserved to an independent provider.
Where a provider makes an eligible change, refund, rebooking or other remedy available, Revie may assist with or process the request where appropriate.
7. What should I know when booking a flight?
Fare rules
Airline tickets are subject to the applicable airline's fare rules. A fare may be refundable, partially refundable or non-refundable and may restrict or charge for date, route or passenger-detail changes.
Schedule changes and disruptions
Flight times, aircraft, routes, delays, cancellations and operational decisions are controlled by the airline and may change after booking.
If an airline changes a booking made through Revie, we will help you understand the options the airline makes available and, where appropriate, assist with an eligible request.
Baggage and optional services
Baggage allowance, seats, meals, priority services, special assistance and similar services are governed by the airline's terms and may attract additional charges.
Passenger details
Passenger names and other booking information must be accurate. Airlines may prohibit corrections or require additional payment after a ticket has been issued.
8. What applies to visas and travel documents?
Revie may assist with visa applications, passports, Yellow Cards, Police Character Certificates and other travel-document services.
Decisions remain with the relevant authority
Visa approvals, passport issuance, government documentation and other official decisions are made by the relevant embassy, immigration authority, government agency or issuing body. Revie cannot guarantee approval or issuance.
Authority and provider fees
Fees payable to embassies, immigration authorities, government agencies and other providers are subject to their applicable terms and are generally non-refundable.
Processing times
Processing timelines stated by Revie are based on the information and typical processing conditions available to us at the relevant time unless a particular service expressly states otherwise.
Authority processing, appointment availability, additional document requests, security checks and other matters outside Revie's control may affect completion.
9. How do pricing and payment work?
Prices are shown in Nigerian Naira unless another currency is stated.
The price applicable to your purchase is the price communicated or displayed when your order is confirmed, subject to any clearly stated condition that requires repricing due to live provider availability, fare changes or information supplied by you.
Provider prices, exchange rates, government charges and live travel fares can change before confirmation. Revie is not required to fulfil an order at an outdated or erroneous price.
If a material pricing error affects an order after payment, Revie will contact you before proceeding and provide the lawful options available in the circumstances.
For all services, payment must be received before processing begins.
10. What are you responsible for?
You are responsible for providing complete, accurate and current information required for the service you request.
This includes reviewing names, dates, destinations, passport information, identification numbers and other details before submitting them to Revie or approving them for processing.
You must provide authentic, lawful and unaltered documents.
You are also responsible for responding to reasonable requests for information, attending required appointments and meeting travel or application requirements within the relevant time.
Entry and transit requirements
Travellers remain responsible for holding the passports, visas, permits, health documents and other requirements necessary for their journey.
11. What happens if I cancel or change an order?
Cancellation, amendment and refund eligibility depend on the type of service, applicable service-specific terms, provider conditions and the stage of processing.
Our Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms and explains how Revie handles refund and cancellation requests.
Provider-controlled refunds
Where a service is eligible for a full or partial refund under the applicable provider's terms, the refundable amount is limited to the amount approved or returned by the provider, less any applicable non-refundable amounts, charges or deductions.
Revie service fees are non-refundable.
12. Are processing and delivery times guaranteed?
Processing and delivery timelines are estimates based on normal operating conditions and information available when the order is placed.
Timelines can be affected by incomplete information, customer delays, provider availability, government processing, appointments, payment verification, operational disruptions and other circumstances.
Where Revie becomes aware of a material delay affecting your order, we will provide reasonable updates where practicable.
13. Who is responsible when something goes wrong?
Revie is responsible for performing the services that Revie itself has agreed to provide, subject to these Terms, the terms of the particular service and applicable law.
An independent provider remains responsible for the acts, decisions and services that are under that provider's control.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Revie is not responsible for loss caused solely by the act, omission or decision of an independent airline, insurer, hotel, government authority, immigration authority, payment provider, transport provider or other third party where that act, omission or decision was outside Revie's reasonable control and was not caused by Revie's own breach.
Revie is also not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate information supplied by the customer, failure to provide required documents or information, missed appointments, failure to comply with travel requirements or other circumstances caused by the customer.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Revie will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage, or for any loss, delay, refusal, cancellation, additional cost or other consequence resulting from the acts, decisions, requirements, delays or failures of airlines, hotels, embassies, consulates, immigration authorities, visa application centres, insurers, government agencies or other third-party service providers.
14. What if your actions cause Revie a loss?
You are responsible for reasonable losses, claims, charges or costs directly resulting from your fraudulent or unlawful conduct, deliberate misuse of the Services, unauthorised use of another person's information or documents, or material breach of these Terms.
Where permitted by applicable law, Revie may seek recovery from you for reasonable losses directly resulting from that conduct.
15. What uses of Revie are prohibited?
You may not use Revie to submit fraudulent, forged, stolen or unlawfully obtained documents or information, impersonate another person, make an unauthorised booking, interfere with our systems or use our Services for any unlawful purpose.
Revie may refuse, suspend or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud, identity misuse, unlawful activity, a security risk or a material breach of these Terms.
Revie may preserve relevant records and cooperate with payment providers, regulators, law enforcement agencies or other competent authorities in connection with suspected fraud, unlawful activity, security incidents or other misuse of our Services.
16. How does Revie use personal information?
Travel services often require personal information including passport details, identity documents, contact information, travel plans and other information necessary to process a request.
Revie's collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy .
Where necessary to provide a service, relevant information may need to be shared with airlines, insurers, government authorities, payment providers and other parties involved in fulfilling your request.
17. Who owns Revie's website and content?
The Revie name, website design, text, graphics, branding, software and other content created or owned by Revie are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may use the website and its content for your personal, lawful use of Revie's Services. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify or commercially exploit Revie-owned content without our permission.
Third-party names, logos, trademarks and content remain the property of their respective owners.
18. What happens when events are outside Revie's control?
Revie is not responsible for a failure or delay in performing an obligation where, and to the extent that, the failure or delay is caused by an event outside our reasonable control.
Such events may include government action, natural disasters, war, civil disturbance, strikes, major transport disruption, epidemics, widespread system or network outages, provider shutdowns or other similar events that Revie could not reasonably prevent or overcome.
Where such an event affects a booking or service, it does not by itself create a right to a refund, cancellation, rebooking or rescheduling. Any options available will remain subject to applicable law, the refund and cancellation terms for the relevant Revie service, and, where applicable, the terms of the relevant airline, insurer or other third-party provider.
19. How are complaints and disputes handled?
If you have a concern about a Revie service, please contact us through our Contact page and provide your booking or order details so we can investigate the issue.
We will try to resolve complaints in good faith and may request information reasonably necessary to review the transaction.
These Terms and transactions with Revie are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
20. Can Revie suspend or stop providing a service?
Revie may suspend, refuse or terminate a service where reasonably necessary because of suspected fraud, unlawful activity, security concerns, non-payment, failure to provide required information, misuse of the Services or a material breach of these Terms.
Revie may also change or discontinue a service for operational or commercial reasons. Where this affects an existing order, the order will be handled in accordance with the terms applicable to that service and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
21. Can Revie change these Terms?
Yes. Revie may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, processes, providers, legal requirements or other operational requirements.
The version of these Terms and the service-specific conditions applicable when you complete a purchase will generally govern that transaction.
Third-party services remain subject to the provider terms and requirements governing those services, including changes that the provider is lawfully entitled to make.
22. What other general terms apply?
Entire agreement
These Terms, the Refund & Cancellation Policy, applicable service-specific terms, and any quotation or other written terms expressly incorporated into your purchase form the agreement relating to that transaction.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, it will be treated as modified or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
No waiver
If Revie does not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, that does not mean Revie has waived that right.
Transfer
You may not transfer an order, or your rights or obligations relating to it, to another person without Revie's agreement and, where applicable, the agreement of the relevant provider.
Electronic communications
Revie may provide booking confirmations, invoices, service updates, notices and other transaction-related communications electronically using the contact details supplied with your order.
